More February flowers

I enjoyed doing these Red, White & Purple window boxes for indirect light but bright conditions this month.  They contain Australian violets, red New Guinea Impatients, white green leaf Begonias, purple Plectranthus [aka Mona Lavender], white Geraniums, English Ivy, red Kalanchoes, Purple Moon Torenia and white Pentas [Left to middle]. Who says you can't have color with low light?

I also got some friends veggie boxes planted and growing some good cool weather crops like broccoli, lettuces, cilantro, collards, okinawa spinach, parsley, carrots and onions.

Your Yard

Warm Days, Cool Nights... You've got to love Florida in February!  The 10 day forecast has lows from 45 to 61 each night and warming up to 70 even 80 degrees in the day time next week.  Perfect weather for so many of our flowers and cool-weather vegetables like lettuce, broccoli and green beans.  It's time to trim, clip and fertilize folks!

It's also time to get those veggie boxes built (or refortified) and planted so you can enjoy fresh organic produce this spring. I have home grown veggies for sale, guaranteed GMO free. Let me know if you are looking for organic 4" or 1 gallon vegetables and herbs. Last week, I harvested the largest broccoli head ever and then I planted some more babies this week.  You can have beans, peas, herbs, lettuces, peppers, tomatoes and more in no time if you plant now.

Speaking of no time, if you are thinking "I HAVE NO TIME!" then please consider using my services offered below.  I'm trying to build up my business this spring so I can have a steadier income in 2013. I am only working part time now at my favorite garden center so that I can continue creating organic sustainable gardens and landscapes here in Orlando. Several of my clients agree that it is time to spread my knowledge base and artistic touches to a wider circle. I hope that I can help you too.

So, no matter what size your space,
whether it is two pots by your front door or
perhaps a new look for your outdoor living area,
I can help.

I can give you a consult, work on my own,
hire extra muscle for weeding and removals,
even work along side you to help you build
your first veggie box or plant a new butterfly garden.
Let's make it work for your budget.

If you want your outdoor areas to be scrumptious this year, let me know. And feel free to pass my info along to your family, friends or neighbors.  I would be most grateful.
